Be-Bridger Co., Ltd. was founded on May 13, 2021.
Although Japan’s sake industry is often described as being in decline, I do not believe that the domestic market is coming to an end.
Rather, I strongly feel that it is essential to preserve this culture for the next generation and to continue conveying its value.
Meanwhile, interest in Japanese sake has been steadily growing in overseas markets.
This trend presents a significant opportunity for sake, revealing new possibilities and creating a positive cycle that also supports cultural preservation within Japan.
With the desire to share Japanese sake—one of Japan’s cultural symbols—with both domestic and global audiences, and with the wish to “be a bridge between Japan and the world,” I established Be-Bridger.
The name “Be-Bridger” is a coined word meaning “a person who becomes a bridge.”
It reflects my aspiration to connect Japanese breweries with people around the world and to pass on the culture of sake to the future.
